HOM601: Homiletics
This course is a graduate-level introduction to the theory and practice of biblical preaching (homiletics). Students will explore the biblical foundations, theological purpose, and historical roots of preaching, while developing practical skills in sermon preparation, structure, and delivery. Special emphasis is placed on expository, textual, and topical sermon forms, the role of the preacher’s character and spiritual formation, and contextual awareness in proclaiming the Word of God. Designed for ministers, theological students, and church leaders, this course integrates biblical study with personal and pastoral application.
